Our K-5 Reading Curriculum is based on a balanced literacy approach, which exposes students to the foundations of early literacy and rich literature.  Our program includes components of the five big areas of reading: Phonemic Awareness, Phonological Awareness, Fluency, Vocabulary, and Comprehension.  We have a variety of resources to meet our students' needs.  Each building also has a leveled bookroom and classroom libraries.
