Course Requirements

    Students taking Algebra 1 are required to take the 8th grade state exam as well as the New York State Regents exam in June. We will be covering large amounts of material thorughout the year to get the students ready for these exams.  Students are going to need to be prepared for class each day with their graphing calculator, binder, loose leaf paper, and pencil.  

    Students will be evaluated by a variety of methods; tests, quizzes, and classroom activites.  Students will  be given homework everyday including weekends.  Students need to study as well as complete assigned work.
