Welcome Parents & Students!

Welcome to the Waverly Park Elementary School Library website.  The library contains approximately 8,000 fiction, nonfiction and reference books. There are three computers in our library for the automated catalog (Destiny) and one computer for circulation (checking books in and out). The library uses subscription databases such as Worldbook Online and Culturegrams (see me for passwords). Classes meet one day per cycle for a scheduled period. 

                                SOME FEATURES OF THE LIBRARY PROGRAM

• Web-based technology and keyboarding instuction with grades one and five using learning.com program.
• Open Library periods for classes or small groups for enrichment, special projects, research or author studies.
• Fifth graders have the privilege of circulating Follett Playaways, which are preloaded digital audiobooks.
