Microsoft Excel 2010

Microsoft Excel 2010 looks signficantly different than its' XP and 2003 versions.  Much like Word 2010, the new 'ribbon' toolbar at the top of the program contains all of the tools necessary to work with spreadsheets.  The downloads, video, and screenshots below will guide users through the basics of navigating Excel 2010.

* How do I print the gridlines in my Excel spreadsheet?

Answer: Click on the 'Page Layout' tab at the top left portion of the screen.  In the center area of this toolbar, put a check mark in the section labeled Gridlines - Print.

* How do I sort the data in my spreadsheet (alphabetize by a particular column)?

Answer: Highlight all the data in the spreadsheet to be included in the sorting process.  (Make sure you are currently on the 'Home' tab located on the upper left of Excel.)  On the right hand side of the screen, select 'Sort & Filter.' Select 'Custom Filter.'  From the new window, click on the drop down menu labeled 'Column' and select the column you wish to sort by.
