My Philosophy of Education

I believe that students get bored and frustrated, so the best teaching methods incorporate encouragement, enthusiasm, engagement, and involvement. To me, it seems most clear that students are ready to learn when they are actively asking questions about the subject matter. My approach to teaching has two principle motivations; an enduring love for the subject of mathematics, and a deep sense of caring that students come to appreciate the wonders of mathematics.
