 Ways to help your child be successful:

• teach them how to be organized - organization does not come naturally to many middle school students
• teach them how to study - you know your child best and can help them determine the method of study that will be most successful for them (studying with others is usually more beneficial)
• be involved with their school work - have conversations about what they are learning in class - ask them to teach you
• stay informed - keep up to date on what is going on in school - visit this and other teacher/school websites - communicate with your child's teachers
